NEWZOPS, launched in early 2024, is a woman-owned consultancy providing hands-on business and operations services to independent newsrooms and news entrepreneurs. 

Our three founders pride ourselves on combined decades of experience rolling up our sleeves and solving real problems to allow newsroom leaders time and flexibility to focus on their missions. Unlike most organizations in similar spaces, we go beyond coaching and take a direct approach in helping both for-profit and nonprofit news leaders address underlying issues that prevent them from achieving their goals in administration, HR and culture, finance, audience, and technology.

NewzOps has assisted news companies with business planning, revenue strategy, membership appeals, media kits and advertising pitches, case for support statements, QuickBooks setup and cleanup, financial policies and procedures manuals, board management advising, fractional CFO services, audience analysis, reader surveys, internal climate surveys and tech stack implementation.
